With public transport
Take the CAT to the Wien Mitte train station and ride the U-Bahn (towards Hütteldorf) for 2 stops. At the Karlsplatz, take the "Oper" exit heading towards the opera. At the start of the pedestrian zone, turn right onto the Walfischgasse. Pension Suzanne is the 2nd house on the right. Cost ca. Euro 10 per person.
Or you can take the S7 to the Wien Mitte train station. From here, continue as described above on the U4. Each person must have 2 train tickets, because the airport is outside the city limits. Cost per person Euro 4.60.
Arrival by train
If you arrive at the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U1 (towards Leopoldau) to the "Karlsplatz-Oper" stop. From here, it is only a few more steps to the State Opera. Then take the Kärntnerstraße and turn onto the Walfischgasse. We are located at Walfischgasse 4. This trip will take ca. 20 min. Or you can take a taxi (cost ca. Euro 15).
From the Westbahnhof (west station), take the U3 towards Simmering to the Stephansplatz. Walk along the Kärntnerstraße in the pedestrian zone to the State Opera. Then turn left onto the Walfischgasse. This trip will take ca. 20 min. Arrival from the Wesetbahnhof by taxi costs no more than Euro 20.
Arrival by plane
The easiest way to reach us from the airport in Schwechat is by taxi (cost: Euro 40).
